From the West
Dear Brothers: Part of the duties of Senior Warden is to pay the Craft their wages should any be due. Well, thanks to the hard work of all the brothers who participated in the Fellowcraft Degree, we did at our last meeting. It looks like I owe a lot of corn, wine, and oil. I would like to say thank you to all the brothers of our lodge who participated in the degree. Thank you to the brothers in attendance. Special thanks to R.'.W.'.Gerry Zeidel (1st Nassau) and R.'.W.'.Bart Forbath (Spartan Lodge 956) for traveling to our lodge to participate and, most importantly, congratulations to our five new Fellowcrafts. Don't forget, Brothers, that we have another Fellowcraft Degree on November 5th. Those of us on the degree team will be having our rehearsal at the office in Electchester on Tuesday October 20th at 6:30 PM. Thanks again, Brothers, and I'm looking forward to another proficient degree! Fraternally, Brother Frank L. Parker Senior Warden |
From the East Dear Brethren: Call the Craft from Labor to Refreshment! Now is the time for us to enjoy ourselves after the hard work of the degree and hospitality our Lodge extended. Now is the time for us to gather as brothers and enjoy the fellowship we are known for. Now is the time for us to laugh and enjoy each other's company. Please come to our next meeting and have some fun. I promise to make it a short meeting so we can have a long collation. There will be a pre-meeting Dutch treat pizza and soft drink gathering. Don't waste your dinner money elsewhere; come upstairs and have a good time with your friends. I will make sure the collation is special after the meeting. My personal thanks go out to Sr. Warden Frank Parker for his excellent coordination of the Fellowcraft Degree and to all the Brothers of our Lodge who made it a successful evening. A very special thanks and appreciation to R.'.W.'.Jerry Zeidel and W.'.Bert Forbath for their voluntary assistance and participation. Please make plans to join us for the Festive Board on December 3, it is always a good time. It's what we do best have fun together. If you have not yet done so, please send in your support for our annual Harry S Truman Foundation appeal. Help us to continue to help others. It is my honor and pleasure to serve the Lodge and carry out its will. Fraternally, W.'.M.'.Mathew Donovan |
